Achievement

In our IGERT program each previous cohort is involved with training and mentoring the subsequent cohort. This year the training cohort had primary responsibility for developing, delivering, and grading labs for the current cohort. The assessment of this activity by the evaluator this year again indicated this as a valuable experience for the trainees. Extract from the survey "I enjoyed the opportunity to “pass along a bit of my knowledge,” and one trainee was pleased that he could see how the students processed the information from his lab in their end-of-the-semester project presentation."
