Achievement

March 5, 2012, Dr. James Galloway and his research collaborator, Allison Leach, presented a widely attended seminar describing the N environmental cascade and a new tool, the N-Print calculator, designed for institutions and individuals to determine their Nitrogen footprint. The seminar was followed by a workshop held for NSPIRE Trainees to train them to use the N-Print tool and to describe to them how it could be used to identify sustainable N practices within an institution. There is now an effort beginning at WSU to apply the N-Print tool to calculate the campus wide N footprint.
