New MRI methods developed for imaging speech production
Participating faculty Brad Sutton's lab and collaborators have developed new, rapid MRI methods for dynamically imaging the speech articulation muscles and tissue as they move to produce speech. This new methodology will allow studies of speech formation (and impairments) without the use of potentially cancer-causing X-rays.
