Achievement

First-semester training in the fundamentals of their secondary discipline via accelerated courses targeted to the opposite-discipline trainees has produced the ability to begin effective cross-disciplinary research collaboration within the first year. The students achieve a remarkable amount of comfort in working across disciplines at a very early stage, as well as forming working relationships with their peers in the other disciplines.
