Achievement

Starting in January 2012, Tiffany Tong (Princeton, Electrical Engineering) has been participating in an internship at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, supporting activities related to the “Year of Sustainable Energy for All.” In her final year, Tiffany represents the ideal IGERT trainee with cross-cutting interests in energy research and policy. Her multidisciplinary accomplishments include research and training in battery technology, the development of a solar lantern for a rural village in Kenya and the publication of a book chapter on "Off-grid solar in the developing world," in Ginley and Cahen's recently published textbook on the Fundamental of Materials for Energy and Environmental Stability.
