"Design of pharmaceutical experiments" course
Last year, we were extremely fortunate to be able to host as a visiting instructor Dr. Ron Snee, who presented a especially prepared course on "design of pharmaceutical experiments". Dr. Snee is a celebrated expert in this area, having authored several popular textbooks on the implementation of statistical process control and six-sigma methods for pharmaceutical manufacturing. After retiring from a 35-year career in Dupont and in Tunnell, Dr. Snee agreed to teach this course for Rutgers and NJIT trainees. The course was extremely well reviewed by the students, receiving some of the highest rankings in the school of Engineering. Some fellows provided very positive written comments such as "this was the most useful course I have taken in graduate school" and "I feel I am much more effective in my research now."
