Thesis research awarded scholarships and fellowships
Trainee Kellie Carim has received a number of scholarships and fellowships in support of her thesis research on the genetics of isolated populations of rainbow trout. These include a P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization) Scholars Award, a Winston Fly Rod Scholarship, a Trout Unlimited Scholarship and a NSF-Nordic Research Opportunity to study "Conservation Strategies for Isolated Populations: Population Genetics and Viability of Inland Trout" in Norway.
