Program mentors undergrad minority students
The first Brandeis Science Posse for undergraduate minority students graduate this year (2012). This program for 10 students a year is run by Professor Epstein, and used several IGERT trainees as mentors for the undergraduates over their 4 year time at Brandeis. This gave the IGERT trainees unparalleled experiences in working with an exciting new model for successfully bringing underprivileged and diverse students through their undergraduate years.
