Achievement

QSE3 IGERT offered a 4-part workshop on design and visualization in science. This workshop was developed by a graduate student in the Art Dept. with a background in astrophysics, and one of our faculty participants. The workshop is designed to improve students ability to communicate scientific data to other scientists as well as to the general public by using design principles and better information organization and presentation. The students participated in the workshop by developing a poster presentation using the principles that were taught during the workshop.
