Atmospheric transport of plant pathogens
Aaron (AJ) Prussin II has combined his expertise in aerobiology with knowledge of engineering science he has gained through participation in the MultiSTEPS program to make substantial advances in understanding of atmospheric transport of plant pathogens. His thesis research has evolved to include a notable quantity of mechanics and dynamical systems theory. He presented his results at the American Microbiology Society-Virginia Branch Annual Meeting, and he is preparing and has submitted multiple manuscripts based on this work. His ideas formed an important core of this year's team-based MultiSTEPS IGERT poster submission.
