Achievement

Trainee Mike Salerno has been working on molecular dynamics simulations and this year submitted his first journal submission on the topic to Physical Review Letters. In identifying the ways in which IGERT enabled this research, he cites the computational resources and support provided by the MCS IGERT through JHU's High Performance Computing Cluster, the IGERT coursework that provided him with a number of tools and new ideas for analysis of his simulation data, and the feedback he received in IGERT advisory committee meetings and from his peer Trainees.
