Achievement

Trainee Michael Iversen’s work on the ecology of design has received substantial recognition in the Chicago area. His work envisions new approaches to sustainable architecture and a new view of urbanized ecosystems. Mike presented three seminars for the Chicago Department of Environment as part of their prerequisite course for the Green Tech U certification program. He presented his work at the Chicago Wilderness Conference 'Wild Things 2009', in February 2009. He will also be attending the IGERT Annual Meeting next month as a LEAP Trainee and will present a poster on this work.
