Interdisciplinary collaboration fosters new work
As an IGERT Trainee working in an interdisciplinary group, Nima Dinyari was able to use the expertise of his IGERT cohort to find solutions to a research problem he was having. This allowed him to change the surface chemistry of his sample surface to minimize the ionization of quantum emitters in diamond nanopillars due to dangling bonds at the surface.
