Two workshops offered for integral development activities
Two workshops were offered this year as part of the trainee integral development activities. The title of the first workshop, offered in August 2011, was: Communicating for Results: Listening and Speaking with Maximum Impact, and the instructor was Harrison Monarth, Founder of GuruMaker – School of Professional Speaking, and New York Times Bestselling Author. The topic of this workshop was chosen following input from the company representatives participating in the 1st COSI-IGERT Industrial Advisory Board meeting. The second workshop, offered in May 2012, was 'Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer', specially organized for the COSI-IGERT by the Technology Transfer Office (TTO) of the University of Colorado. The workshop featured specialists from the TTO, as well as a patent lawyer and a faculty entrepreneur.
