Trainee won Ocean Optics Young Investigator Award
Nathan Withers, an INCBN IGERT Trainee, has won the Ocean Optics Young Investigator Award for his paper on "Effects of La0.2Ce0.6Eu0.2F3:Ce nanoparticles capped with polyethylene glycol on human astrocytoma cells in vitro" that he presented at the Colloidal Nanocrystals for Biomedical Applications VII conference, held in San Francisco, CA on 21-23 January 2012 as part of the SPIE Photonics West.
