Trainee submits research papers on cyber-security
Trainee Tzipora Halevi has submitted several research papers related to cyber-security. A first paper titled "A Closer Look at Keyboard Acoustic Emanations: Random Passwords, Typing Styles and Decoding Techniques" researched how sound emanated by clicks of the keyboard can be utilized to detect the keys which were pressed (To appear in ACM Symposium on Information, Computer and Communications Security. A second paper appeared in the International Conference on Pervasive Computing and Communications (PerCom 2012) explored adding defenses against RFID attacks based on different sensor outputs without requiring active action by the user.
