Achievement

The 1-credit seminar that all GEEMaP students take together was developed and offered for the first time in 2011-12. Fall semester seminar activities included attendance at selected colloquia in the individual departments affiliated with GEEMaP and presentations by GEEMaP faculty. The spring semester seminar dealt with scientific writing; it was required of all GEEMaP students and was also open to other graduate students in Statistics.
