Achievement

Two of our students, Ashley Hawkins and David Cochran received awards for their research presentations at the Biomaterials Day held at Purdue University in October 2011. Ashley placed 3rd in a poster competition where she presented her research on composite biodegradable hydrogel systems as 3D porous scaffolds. David placed 1st in an oral presentation on his work related to antioxidant polymers for treating oxidative stress.
