This year, we added a new graduate course offering for IGERT trainees, Writing about Scientific Research, taught by Leonard Mlodinow. Dr. Mlodinow is both a physicist and best-selling author of many books, including two co-written with Stephen Hawking. This course provides IGERT trainees with a unique opportunity to develop their writing skills and communicate with a broad audience. This intensive, hands-on writing class will take students through the entire writing process, from conception to publication, with the class producing an edited volume of science writing.
