Computational biases in decision making under risk
IGERT trainee Vanessa Janowski successfully defended her thesis, Computational biases in decision making under risk, to earn her PhD. Vanessa's graduate research reflects the deeply interdisciplinary nature of our IGERT by combining economics, neuroscience, finance, and psychology to gain insight into how the brain perceives - and misperceives - risk. Vanessa will begin postdoctoral research in the newly emerging discipline of neurofinance at MIT in the fall.
