Trainees active in disseminating results
The ABS-IGERT students have been especially active this year in organizing new opportunities for disseminating results of their interdisciplinary research. For example, with leadership by ABS Associate, Carena van Riper as Editor, the ABS-IGERT students created a publication series, "Applied Biodiversity Science Perspectives Series: Advancing Conservation with Innovative Ideas from the Future Generation." In addition, ABS Trainees, Elizabeth Daut and Zachary Hurst, worked with ABS Associate, Emma Gomez, to develop of a web-based resource to facilitate and improve collaborations within the ABS community and among conservation practitioners.
