Trainees collaborate on interdisciplinary research
ABS-IGERT students, in 8 different groups, are collaborating on interdisciplinary research. A few examples: ABS Trainee, Mike Treglia, and ABS Associate, Adam Landon are working together to evaluate public perceptions of wildfire and endangered species habitat management in the Southern California wildland-urban interface. ABS Trainees, Katherine Dennis and Margot Wood, anthropologist and biologist, are doing research on biodiversity conservation in rural and agricultural areas in Panama. A cadre of students are working on an essay about accountability among conservation NGOs.
