Trainees participate in Communication Workshop
IGERT students Amanda Bentley, Cleve Davis, Sara Galbraith, Renee Hill, Joe Holbrook, and Zion Klos participated in a Communication and Engagement Workshop at the University of Idaho led by Nancy Baron, author of “Escape from the Ivory Tower: A Guide to Making Your Science Matter”. After the workshop the students presented the lessons they learned at the Professional Development and Ethics course and engaged the class in a team exercise to help them improve their communication skills.
