Work in role of Ron receptor presented and awarded
Trainee Andrew Paluch, under the direction of his mentor, Dr. Susan Waltz, presented his work concerning the role of the Ron receptor tyrosine kinase in promoting castration-resistant prostate cancer at the 2011-2012 Cancer and Cell Biology Graduate Symposium where he won the Best in Fourth Year award. In addition, Andrew presented his work in the form of a poster at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Frontiers in Basic Cancer Research conference in September 2011 in San Francisco, CA. Travel to this conference was made possible through support from IGERT.
