Achievement

The UCD Food Systems Research Group, made up of faculty and students from multiple disciplines (engineering, planning, social sciences, environmental science) continued to collaborate on a number of projects focused on urban agriculture and sustainability including a methodology for determining land availability of urban agriculture (under review), consultations with the various governmental and non-governmental bodies on urban agriculture, and development of metrics to better understand the potential and impact of urban agriculture on land use, health, and the food supply.
