Paper describes novel groundwater restoration system
ERIE-IGERT PhD gradate Shannon Seneca and advisor Alan Rabideau (IGERT PI) published "Natural zeolite permeable treatment wall for removing Sr-90 from groundwater" in the journal Environmental Science & Technology. The paper described the design and construction of a novel groundwater restoration system at the former nuclear facility in West Valley, NY. The project had previously received the 2011 Project of the Year award from the National Ground Water Association.
