Alum accepts faculty position and receives research grant
One of our previous IGERT trainees, Samantha Meenach has been continuing her participation in the program as a postdoctoral associate (funded by NCI/CNTC). She recently accepted a tenure track faculty position in Chemical Engineering at the University of Rhode Island. She will begin her new position in August 2013. In addition, she received a Burroughs Wellcome Fund 2013 Collaborative Research Travel Grant and will have the opportunity to work on research with investigators at Kings College London in Summer 2014.
