Trainee receives research award and grant
IGERT trainee, Thomas Scherr completed the course requirement for his PhD. He was awarded a Clayton Research Award from the LSU College of Engineering, and received a Coates Research Grant through the LSU Graduate School. His research has progressed substantially with one peer reviewed journal article published in the past year, and several more in preparation to be submitted in a few months.
