Fellows practice research proposal, presentation skills
In the EE 271 course, IGERT fellows in interdisciplinary teams developed new research proposals (e.g., for a funding
agency) and presented them to the IGERT faculty and graduate students for critic and evaluation. All this was
done in a very professional manner and it was a great experience for the trainees.
