Achievement

Efficient routes for fixing atmospheric CO2 to liquid fuel were identified via extensive modeling and published in I&EC Research. A new route to efficiently store intermittent solar energy at GWhr levels supply electrical energy around the 24-hour clock was identified and modeled. A benefit-cost analysis of purchasing vs. leasing for residential solar PV panel use in California was completed.
