Achievement

Our Policy Studio course continues to be an exceptional training experience which introduces NSPIRE students to the policy environment with an emphasis on the intersection of science and policy. The course culminates in a week long trip to Washington, DC where students and faculty interact with a wide range of people from congressional offices, federal agencies, and NGO’s. The interactions give students a first hand look at how various groups approach the science-policy interface and, also provides a rich networking opportunity for students to begin exploring options for their 3 month policy-oriented fellowship (internship) with an agency or organization.
