Faculty member receives C3E Award
IGERT Faculty Jing Li (Rutgers, Chemistry and Chemical Biology) was awarded a C3E by MIT for her work in Innovation and Technology Development in September 2012 for her work on inorganic-organic hybrid semiconductors and microporous metal organic frameworks, work supported by former IGERT trainee Mojgan Roushan. Roushan was advised by Li and received her PhD this past summer for her work on hybrid white-light LEDs. Li's and Roushan's ground-breaking work on tunable LEDs based on inorganic-organic semiconductor structures, has led to a number of publications in journals including Chemistry of Materials, Angewandte-Chemie and European Journal of Inorganic Chemistry.
