Trainee recognized by Society for Risk Analysis
Amy Dale has developed a diagenetic model of silver nanoparticle transformation in freshwater sediments. This work was recognized by a “best poster” award at the Society for Risk Analysis 2012 annual meeting and received the Herb Toor Award for 2012 best qualifying exam paper in the Department of Engineering and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University. A paper, Amy L. Dale, Gregory V. Lowry, Elizabeth A. Casman “Modeling Nanosilver Transformations in Freshwater Sediments” is in preparation.
