Achievement

Trainees are currently grappling with complex ideas related to resilience, in particular the differentiation between resilience and adaptive capacity. Through class, and out-of-class activities, the trainees are attempting to define these concepts, which are vaguely defined in the literature, but part of a fast-moving body of science attempting to cope with resilience of complex systems in the face of global change. The end result will be a paper submitted to an appropriate journal.
