PRISMS center formed
We formed the PRISMS center, led by John Allison, MSE and funded by DOE as part of the materials genome initiative. Hedstrom and Jagadish are part of the PRISMS team that is building the Materials Commons, a repository for data sharing in materials science with design goals and principles drawn from work in the Open Data IGERT.
