Fellows develop tool kit for atomistic simulation data
Two IGERT fellows in materials science, Katherine Sebeck and Michael Waters, developed Generalized Atomic Systems: a Tool Kit for Atomistic Simulation Data. This tool automates and simplifies the transfer and processing of data from instruments into simulations. The students presented their work at a Open Data Seminar. Students from bioinformatics discussed ways in which they might use a similar tool in their work.
