Trainee secures postdoctoral fellowship
One of our IGERT associates, Adri Seelye, a clinical Psychology student, successfully defended her dissertation study. Her dissertation study did not focus on a topic she had initially selected when coming to WSU. However, working on an IGERT team project inspired her to switch directions. As a result of this new direction, not only did Adri publish several journal articles on the results of her study but she also obtained her top choice of NIA-funded research postdoctoral fellowship positions. This position was possible because of her multi-disciplinary training and will allow her to further her multi-disciplinary clinical research training and competence in aging, technology and neuropsychology.
