Achievement

The IGERT program co-sponsored the interdisciplinary symposium titled A FEW (Food, Energy, and Water) Ideas for the new Millenium. This was a joint effort from the College of Natural Sciences, the Law School and the School of Architecture and brought together the heads of several Puerto Rico government agencies together with academics to develop new ideas on the three subjects of interest. Participation in the symposioum included IGERT students and members of the academic community. The IGERT PI moderated one of the sessions on water.
