Achievement

IGERT-COSI students participated in oral and poster presentations to industrial leaders. Trainees took part in the annual meeting poster session of the Colorado Photonics Industry Association (CPIA) annual meeting at the University of Colorado campus, organized by CPIA and chaired by COSI deputy director Dr. Ariel Libertun. Trainees also participated in the 2nd Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) meeting and 1st COSI@CU Conference that took place in Estes Park, CO. They gave oral presentations, presented posters, and participated in discussions about the program and its industrial implications. The IAB included companies such as Ricoh Innovations, Covidien, Hamamatsu Corporation, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and Schlumberger, among others.
