Achievement

During this reporting period, four current and former IGERT trainees and two IGERT Associates graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with PhD degrees. IGERT Associate Kathleen Owkes (November 2012, Advisor: Daily) obtained her PhD in Mechanical Engineering, IGERT Trainee Matthew Reynolds (October 2012, Advisor: Beylkin) obtained his PhD in Applied Math, IGERT Associate Ginni Grover (January 2013, Advisor: Piestun) obtained her PhD in Electrical Engineering, IGERT Trainee Adam Urness (May 2013, Advisor: McLeod) obtained his PhD in Electrical Engineering, IGERT Trainee Kevin Dean (May 2013, Advisor: Palmer) obtained his PhD in Chemistry and biochemistry, and IGERT Trainee Ryan Lewis (May 2012, Advisor: Beylkin) obtained his PhD in Applied Math.
