Achievement

IGERT Fellow, Nirala Singh Reports: I have been collaborating with Dr. Sylvia Joun Lee and Dr. Mubeen Syed in the Chemistry department at UCSB on the development of systems for the electrolysis and photoelectrolysis of hydrobromic acid. This research has been conducted in collaboration with Prof. Trung Van Nguyen at the University of Kansas. As a result, we have produced several publications concerning both the development of transition metal sulfide electrocatalysts [Langmuir. 2013 Jan 8;29(1):480-92.], as well as demonstrations of electrocatalysts for photoelectrochemical reactions [Energy Environ. Sci., 2013, Accepted Manuscript].
