Achievement

During this reporting period, the IGERT bi-weekly meetings have focused on a series of academic and professional development presentations that have included academic, government and industry professionals covering a wide range of topics. Assistant Professor Alexis Ostrowski of Chemistry in the Center for Photochemical Sciences at Bowling Green State University, Ohio, and former ConvEne IGERT Fellow, presented a workshop on Navigating the Path to Academia. This workshop was a very popular event and many trainees commented that it helped them gain a better sense of what such a career entails.
