Trainees' writing recognized in contests
A couple of our cohort 1 trainees received special recognition for writing related to their IGERT research. Sarah Pedersen's research abstract was one of 12 that will be considered for the Student Prize competition hosted by the Global Nutrition Council of the American Nutrition Society. Jenni Zambriski's essay, reflecting on their group project experience in Ethiopia, was selected as a finalist in the Consortium of Universities for Global Health Student Essay Contest.
