International and corporate partnerships
We have developed international and corporate partnerships, which will provide interdisciplinary research training opportunities for IGERT students. Sarah Runge, a Biology PhD student, will be working in a Mechanical Engineering lab at Tsinghua University for June-August 2013. Karen Levi, a Biomedical Engineering PhD student, will be working in a Chemical Engineering and Materials Science lab at Politecnico di Milano, in May-August 2013. Two other IGERT Fellows will participate in industrial internships in summer 2013.
