Achievement

Three new interdisciplinary courses were developed and offered for IGERT students this academic year – ESP Foundations, Human Factors in ESP and ESP and Public Policy. Each course was co-taught by faculty members from different disciplines and challenged students to understand security and privacy issues from perspectives they may not have been exposed to previously. Students worked in cross-disciplinary settings with colleagues from other departments and colleges on research projects. In addition, they analyzed security and privacy issues on various topics related to technology and learned to present material on security and privacy to a broad audience.
