Public Policy, Law, and Ethics course
IGERT students participated in the Public Policy, Law, and Ethics course offered in the Spring of 2013. This unique course offering is co-taught by faculty from University of Illinois at Chicago and from the Kent College of Law. Together with second and third year law students from Kent, the IGERT students from UIC considered the ethical, economic and legal considerations around the issues of privacy and security. They explored the issue of privacy in an age of electronic surveillance and the trade-offs between privacy and security and between privacy and economic efficiency.
