Trainee selected to compete in Global Health Case Competition
Nicholas Pashos was a member of a group selected to compete in the 2013 Intramural Emory Global Health Case Competition (http://www.globalhealth.emory.edu/programs/globaldevandhealthweek/casecompetition_2013_international.php). This international contest brought multidisciplinary teams together from 24 different universities to address the countries and sanitation programs in which the Chinese government should invest during the years 2020-2025. Nicholas, representing Tulane’s IGERT Bioinnovation PhD Program, developed a human waste composting/disposal system and implementation plan for developing countries in need of improved sanitation.
