Achievement

Several IGERT trainees (current as well as 2013-cohort students Beieler and Stehle) and affiliates from multiple departments were able to take this new course in Spring 2013. The focus of the course is the production and analysis of political event data. This is tied to the high profile event data research program, and the new GDELT dataset discussed elsewhere, that has served as a productive touchpoint for collaborative training and research within the BDSS-IGERT community.
