Achievement

We obtained approval from the State of Iowa Board of Regents for our new Ph.D. degree program in Wind Energy Science, Engineering and Policy (WESEP) on December 5, 2012. This occurred following a 1.5 year process which included significant documentation and associated discussion at the department, college, university, and state level. The degree program was approved with unanimous support from the other two Iowa regent's universities.
