Trainee helps establish new IGERT Resource Center
During summer 2008 Erik Koepf was chosen to be on a student advisory committee to help establish the new IGERT Resource Center.
TERC, Inc. was brought on to create and facilitate the project, and they immediately established a student advisory committee to help steer the center in the right direction. Fifty students from across the country were recommended by faculty to participate, and from those fifty, six were selected to be on the committee. Erik was one of those 6.
The IGERT Resource Center will be an invaluable tool for IGERT students across the country and it fits perfectly with the interdisciplinary theme of an IGERT program.
Erik Koepf has also been featured in the University of Delaware’s quarterly magazine called Messenger. He is featured under an article entitled 'Going Green with Hydrogen' and states (in reference to the IGERT) that 'I (sic) couldn't have created a better program if I had tailored it myself."
